A video of the acclaimed actor Kim Soo-hyun, colloquially known as the “Queen of Tears,” whispering to the rising starlet Lim Na-young, is rapidly spreading across online communities and raising eyebrows in the entertainment industry.
The footage and accompanying photos, which were shared on an online community forum on the 7th, show Kim and Lim in an intimate conversation. Kim, dressed in a black hat and denim shirt, can be seen leaning in to whisper something in Lim’s ear.
The candid moment has led to rampant speculation among netizens that the two celebrities, who have an eight-year age difference, might be romantically involved. Their agency, however, was quick to quash these rumors, stating categorically, “It’s not true.”
Adding another layer to the intrigue, some internet users have speculated that the festival was also attended by Kim’s cousin and company representative, Lee Robe.
Kim, born in 1987, is a household name in the South Korean film industry, while Lim, born in 1995, first gained recognition as a member of the K-pop girl group I.O.I in 2016. She has since transitioned to acting, making her debut in the 2016 tvN drama ‘Entourage’.
